Jesus Always: 365 Devotions for Kids by Sarah Young is a wonderful devotional that introduces kids to the love of Jesus Christ.

This is a devotional that children and adults both can spiritually glean from.

The first thing that stood out to me about this devotional is how colorful and vibrant it is. It definitely catches the eye of kids. As a huge fan of hardcover books, I was so pleased that this devotional is a hardcover. It is a very well put together and designed book.

The focus of the majority of the daily devotions are on the joy of experiencing a life with the love of Jesus Christ. The devotions that I’ve read with the kids in our family have all been messages that they understood or that I was able to explain to them in a simple and easy to understand way. I’ve found they really like this devotional and look forward to me reading it to them.

The only thing that I did not like so much about the daily devotionals are that they are written from the perspective of Jesus speaking to the child. This works great if the child is able to read this devotional on their own. It can be a wonderful experiencing of having Jesus speak to them each day. However, it can be a bit of a challenge when reading the devotionals to a child. I found myself primarily reading the devotions to the children in my family, as they are not yet able to read this type of book on their own yet, and had to change the pronouns as I read along in order for them to understand that it was God and not me who the devotional was referring to.

Overall, this is a fantastic devotional that I highly recommend to any child or adult who desires a daily reminder of the love and joy of Jesus Christ.
