Live the Let-Go Life: Breaking Free from Stress, Worry and Anxiety by Joseph Prince is a very helpful book for people who are overwhelmed by stress, worry and anxiety and have a desire to overcome it.

This book provides true biblical answers to stress relief that can significantly help and improve the lives of readers who are willing to trust God and take the necessary action.

I have to be honest, this is the first book that I’ve read by Joseph Prince and I wasn’t sure what to expect initially. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy a read this book was. It’s well structured, has a conversational tone and flows smoothly.

Joseph not only shares Scriptures all throughout the book, but he even explores and examines the meaning of certain words and phrases. I truly enjoyed this aspect of the book, because it provided even more depth to the concept that he was presenting and explaining. His in-depth study of Matthew 6 was by far my favorite. I learned so much and have a much richer understanding of one of my favorite chapters in the Bible now. At times, he even shares personal revelations that God has given him. I found value in the unique perspectives that God unveiled to him and I’m glad that he shared them.

Within every chapter of this book there are inspiring testimonies that others have shared with Joseph. These testimonies may not be appealing to every reader, but they are a great reminder of God’s love and grace for His children. If readers enjoy the testimonies of others, they are sure to resonate with this aspect of the book. For readers like me, who aren’t too interested in testimonies, they may become turned off by the sheer number of testimonies that are shared throughout the book.

Overall, I found a lot of value in this book. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t lose interest in it after reading a number of chapters. It became predictable and some of the aspects that I enjoyed the most (in depth explorations of the meaning of words and phrases) began to decrease in frequency, while other aspects that I did not enjoy as much (testimonies) continued to increase throughout the book. This didn’t bother me too much because I had other books to keep my interest while I took a break from this one, but it’s important for readers to know that after awhile their interest level in this book may wane.

There is no denying that this book delivers a powerful message that will resonate with many people. For those who are serious about taking action to rid their lives of stress, worry and anxiety this book can be an invaluable guide to finding and experiencing the rest in God that they seek and desire.
