I really like the colorful hardcover design of this book. It is a very well designed and put together book. Plus, this book is a very easy read. The length of the chapters are balanced, but it’s the content that makes for a seamless reading experience.


Elaine does a great job of exploring the journeys of business owners in six different industries: e-commerce, manufacturing, informational content creation, professional services, personal services firms and real estate. If readers have an interest in any of these industries, they will likely discover a handful of nuggets that they may consider applying in their businesses.


This book primarily delves into the stories and experiences of different business owners who’ve attained and surpassed the million-dollar revenue mark. There are few principles and how to’s sprinkled throughout, but it’s important for readers to know that this book is not a guidebook on how to make a million dollars. It’s more focused on informing readers that it’s possible to do and shares the experiences of a variety of people who have done it. Overall, I enjoyed this book and learned a number of new and interesting things from it.
