It’s like Twila said yesterday, how do you keep going when you’re tired of waiting on God? What do you do when the hard, lonely times happen?
I feel guilty sometimes I have a glass of wine, I don’t drink to the point I lose control, but I’ve had a glass just to mellow me out and help me relax.
Sometimes I just feel like I am being punished.
Its not easy being a christian and single. You are right, especially when your family is constantly on your back to get married.
I do note that you do have lots of RNs’ as guests. That is so cool, but at the same time it’s crazy and sad that so much of us are single and or are single parents.

Yes, waiting on God can seem tiring or hard, but I believe that’s God’s way of hinting to us that our focus may be on the wrong thing(s).
When our focus is on fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives, I truly believe there are less moments when we feel tired or like life is hard.
God doesn’t desire for life to be hard or tiring for us. If He allows that in our lives, it is for a reason. For example, to strengthen us or test our faith.
You may feel like your being punished, but it’s possible that’s not the case. Seek God and ask Him to reveal to you and help you understand why you are experiencing some of the things that you are. You may be surprised by what He shares with you.
No, life as a Christian isn’t easy…BUT it’s extremely fulfilling. That is what we must keep in mind. Most things in life that are worth having usually don’t come easy. You know?
Yes, I have spoken to a handful of RN’s. That’s cool and I’m grateful that they have been willing to share their experiences. I believe it provides hope for other women who are listening.
Perspective is so important. Having an open mind and being willing to see things from a positive perspective can be positively life changing.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!!!
