I knew what it meant. I tell you the more I go through time the more I believe in my heart I’m not meant to be yoked, period. So any inequality is kind of irrelevant.

I’m really enjoying my singlehood. I do go on dates but I don’t expect a true courtship. I’m not in the church and I haven’t met or even heard of non-Christian men who would meet my standards. I’m not Christian and I’m not asking for that since I’m not that. But I’m not letting go of my standards, either.

I understand the terms and I know what the purpose of true courtship is. But in order to enjoy my life I can’t look at every date as a potential husband. I used to. But years and years pass and you just have to be happy with your life even if that person isn’t there. I’m enjoying the blessings God has given me and I know there is more to come. It’s just so much happier basking in that abundance than to be concerned if another will be on a similar plane as you are.

Interestingly enough I prayed about a dating situation a few days ago and I got my answer in 24 hours. Gotta love God. 🙂
