Jay, I can only start by saying this podcast with Denise and Oliver was a God sent. For over a week I have been seeking God fervently and reflecting upon somethings in my life that may be allowing the enemy to trump my authority as a believer. What the Holy Spirit revealed was very troubling and it left me feeling quite unworthy of God’s love and forgiveness. So hearing this podcast reminded me that Jesus loves me unconditionally. This comprehensive, yet sobering episode will help many believers struggling with some deep-seated issues to know that they are not alone.

Yes, I have walked away from God, but sadly I was like the son in the Prodigal Son parable that never left home. I left but did not realize I had. I did not leave the church “physically”, but I did “spiritually”. I stopped pursuing God and just as you stated Jay, it started with a personal disappointment because I put my focus upon what God was doing for others that were not seeking Him or His righteousness. I have to admit that I was out of the will of God, because I became angry, jealous and envious. As Denise said only prayer and turning back to God put my life back on course. Restoration is a process and it has been difficult, but God is faithful.

Jay, I plan to visit your guests’ site and support them as you requested. Thank you for such a timely topic.

I really had to share this episode with one of my close friends who recently told me that he doesn’t believe in God anymore. I fully knew why he didn’t because of all the struggles he saw his mom go thru. He said he prayed and everything and seem like nothing was working for years. His mom did make her transition almost two years ago. Now he’s Muslim but I’ve anyways known him to super religious so it really hurt my spirit to here him say that. I can literally say not more than two days this podcast came out and I sent it straight to him. He said he was listening to it but of course not sure if he really did fully listen to and take it all in. But I know if he did God thru the podcast has planned the seed.
